Monthly Meeting
Monthly meetings will feature discussions and guest speakers on topics of interest to moms.
Mom's Night Out
We have enjoyed many dinners out as a group. This year we dined at Bonefish Grill and Bravo! just to mention a few. This is a great opportunity for just the girls to get out and have some fun.
Dessert and Chat Night
This is the one night a month that we overdose on chocolate and discuss all those random kid (and yes, we admit it, husband) issues that you just really need to get off your chest. The best part is we've all been through it or are going through it with you so there is lot's of support!
Book Club/Gourmet Night
These two activities alternate months. Some books that we have discussed or will be discussing include Eat Cake and The Time Traveller's Wife.
Our gourmet night is always tons of fun. The host sets a theme and each guest brings a dish fitting that theme. Yes, more talking and more eating!
Annual Family Events
Our chapter hosts three annual family events:
*Family picnic in June
*Halloween party
*Winter event at Recreation Unlimited
Playgroups
Playgroup meets weekly either at a member's home or a local venue such as a park or The Children's Museum.
Community Outreach
As a Moms group we are excited to give back to our community. This year for Mother's day, we cooked breakfast for all the families at The Ronald McDonald's House at Riley's Hospital for Children. We are also hosting a Christmas Drive for the Julian Center that supports women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. Each of one of us wants to care for our families and our community!
