Thank you for your interest in the DeKalb County Chapter of Mothers & More, recently established in May 2009. Moms from DeKalb and other nearby communities including Cortland, Genoa, Malta, Maple Park, Sycamore and others are invited to join our group as we strive to improve the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy.\r\n\r\nMembers meet monthly for evening program meetings to discuss topics of interest. In addition to monthly meetings, we also offer moms nights outs, play groups, and other family outings and activities.\r\n\r\nMothers & More is comprised of women from a variety of backgrounds. Whether you are a first-time mom who has recently left the paid workforce, a mother struggling to achieve a better balance between the demands of paid work and family care or a full-time family caregiver who has been home with your children for years, Mothers & More can offer you a network of support as you navigate the challenges of daily life. Meetings
We meet the 2nd Tuesday and the 4th Thursday of each month at the staff dining room at Highland Hospital. Meetings are from 7:30-9pm. Parking is available in the garage, for $2 if you tell the parking lot attendant you're with Mothers & More. See map.
