How do I find members for my chapter?

We have a large support team of volunteers who are here to offer you all the help that you will need. We provide you with an array of marketing and PR idea’s and examples. We will supply you with a webpage that is specific to your chapter so that you can reach people on the internet immediately, and we will assign you a personal mentor to help you the whole way.

Am I on my own once I register a chapter?

No, definitely not! Once you start your new Mothers & More chapter, we will assign you a mentor, whose job is to give you the support, knowledge and tools that you need to help your chapter grow and thrive. Your mentor doesn’t just help you in the start up process, our mentors and support team are there for you and your chapter indefinitely.

What types of activities are suggested for a new chapter?

What makes our chapters so unique is the large variety of different activities we provide for our members and your new chapter is no different. We encourage you to provide any and all activities your members are looking for, both day and night, with and without children. Our monthly evening meetings give us a chance to break from our everyday lives, establish friendships with other dynamic women, voice the emotional and practical issues we face as mothers, and explore avenues for self-fulfillment during our active parenting years. We encourage you to utilize guest speakers, and schedule moms' nights out, playgroups, family activities, seasoned mom groups, special-interest groups (book club, scrapbooking, cooking...), care committees, advocacy opportunities, email loops, and much more.

How much of a time commitment is required to start a chapter?

Initially starting a chapter is a very simple and quick process. Once you have your chapter, your mentor will help you plan marketing idea’s and your first initial Open House event. After your Open House, your new members will be able to help you gauge the types of events you will have in the future as well as help plan and host things going forward.

How much money is required to start a chapter?

Starting a Mothers & More chapter is FREE and requires no cost. You must join the organization to be able to start a new chapter, but there are no costs with registering a chapter or any of the help materials we will provide to you once you have joined the organization.

How much are the Chapter or Membership dues/fees?

It costs $45 a year to be a member of Mothers & More, no matter where in the country your chapter is located. This comes out to be about $3.75 a month which is about the cost of one coffee shop latte.
